Trading in Your Vehicle at Shabana

Looking to sell your car? Good news! Here at Shabana Motors, we'd love the chance to buy your used vehicle (even if you're not buying one from us). If you’re looking to sell or trade your used car as part of a trade in for a new vehicle, we do that too.

One thing to note - we're not like the other guys when it comes to the appraisal and trade in process. Our goal is to have you our offer as soon as we can, usually within 10 to 25 minutes. Here's more information about the process.

How it Works

The first step is to figure out how much your car is worth. You can, if you'd like, bring in an appraisal of your vehicle (even from another dealership). We've been buying cars since 1979, so odds are we can work to get you a better offer. Our appraisal team will use a variety of factors to make you an offer. We'll look at:

• Vehicle make/model/mileage
• Overall condition 
• Market considerations like sales trends
• Market resources like Carfax or Black Book

Putting all those factors together, we'll come up with a number that we can then share with you. Bring us your car during normal business hours and we'll see what that looks like for you. Once we've made you an offer, it's good for a week so you'll have time to make sure it's right for you - you're under no obligation to accept it. We can also buy from you if you still owe on the vehicle and don't have the title. You'll just need to have your finance company fax the ten-day payoff.

What You'll Need to Trade in Your Car

When you come to sell your vehicle, you'll need a few things:

• Vehicle title
• Lien release (if needed)
• Photo I.D.

Put simply to buy a car, we've got to be able to prove who we're buying it from, and that you're legally allowed to sell it. If there's a circumstance where the title isn't with the current owner, it may be necessary to have power of attorney to complete the sale.
